Start with your challenge
Recognise your situation?
Click on the challenge that matches where you are. We'll show you how i4V has helped organisations navigate the same moment.
We need a new strategy — one our team will actually own and implement.
You're entering a new cycle, facing significant change, or the current plan is no longer fit for purpose.
We want to understand what our current strategy has and hasn't achieved.
End of cycle, donor requirement, or internal pressure to assess honestly before deciding what comes next.
We need to align diverse stakeholders around a common direction.
Board, leadership team, alliance members, or country offices with different views, priorities, and trust levels.
We have a strategy. Now we need to turn it into a plan the organisation can actually execute.
Strategic priorities that need to become documented initiatives — with clear goals, measures, ownership, and sequencing.
We need to redefine our identity, value proposition, or long-term vision.
Alliance or network facing existential questions. Organisation that has outgrown its original mandate or model.
We want to engage the private sector more strategically — but lack a consistent framework to do it.
Scattered partnership efforts, no common measurement approach, or country offices at very different maturity levels.

Strategy Review & Evaluation
An honest assessment that opens the door to the next chapter
We structure the review around three diagnostic layers: results achieved, organisational readiness, and depth of strategic buy-in. The output is not just a report — it's the foundation for a better next strategy.

Strategy Planning & Implementation
From strategic priorities to a plan the organisation can own and execute
A strategy document is not an execution plan. We bridge the gap — translating priorities into well-documented initiatives with clear goals, measures of success, ownership, and sequencing. Where the organisation needs it, we also design the strategy management function itself: the roles, routines, and infrastructure that keep delivery on track over time.

Vision & Identity
Redefining what an organisation is for — and what it should become
When the question goes deeper than strategy — to identity, value proposition, or the fundamental model of the organisation — we create the space and process for leaders to answer it together. The result is shared ownership, not a consultant's recommendation.

Private Sector Engagement
A consistent framework for engaging business — from prospecting to measuring results
Most organisations have pockets of good private sector engagement and no shared language for talking about it. We design the frameworks, maturity models, and measurement tools that turn scattered efforts into a coherent approach — and make the results visible.

Maturity assessment across country offices or units
2
Benchmarking against peer organisations

Methodology
How we work
Four principles that shape every i4V engagement — from the first conversation to the final Board presentation.
01
Diagnose before prescribing
Every engagement begins with a structured diagnosis — external context, ecosystem mapping, internal capability, stakeholder landscape. We do not arrive with a predetermined answer. The challenge has to be earned through evidence before the framework can be built.
02
Name the challenge clearly
Between diagnosis and strategy, we name the central challenge: the critical choice or obstacle the organisation must address for the strategy to work. This is the hardest part. It is also where most strategies go wrong — by skipping it.
03
Build ownership, not dependency
The process is designed so that clients own the strategy — not us. We facilitate, synthesise, and sharpen. But the decisions are made by the people who will implement them. A strategy that isn't owned is a document. A strategy that is owned is a commitment.
04
Deliver, don't just facilitate
We produce the deliverables. Strategic frameworks, Board narratives, implementation roadmaps, operating model designs. We write, design, and present — not just coordinate. The output is Board-ready and ready to use.

Client Voice
What clients say
Unsolicited testimonials from senior leaders across multiple engagements.
Juan worked effectively with internal and external stakeholders — he was able to conceptualise the ideas presented by the regional network and the regional leadership in a clear, strategic and meaningful way. We were able to see the value added from Juan, and the final product was well accepted. It was developed in a collaborative way and because of that it has been an important step forward for our network in the region.
Juan quickly grasped the complexity of working with an alliance of 20 diverse organisations based across all time zones. He listened carefully and valued the contributions of all involved — synthesizing this into a shared and agreed value proposition and a set of options for Integral's future.
Juan was instrumental to achieving our results. He helped clarify the objectives of the project, listened carefully to key staff and together made adjustments to the plan. This buy-in was critical to the success. As facilitator, Juan was able to bring all the pieces together in one piece — helping to see the interlinkages between them.
The framework is a key component in operationalizing UNICEF's strategy on engaging multi-stakeholder platforms. Juan's structured approach and thought leadership — combined with his ability to incorporate feedback and quickly adjust to evolving demands — was a key success factor.
